Integrating scientific discovery into clinical care to bring new treatments to patients faster, starting with long-COVID.
Core business
RTHM stands for Real Time Health Monitoring and is focused on integrating remote clinical medicine and research with advanced molecular and digital measurement technologies to bring new diagnostics and treatments to patients faster. They develop collaborations to give patients access to the most promising therapies for their illnesses. The goal is to streamline the most efficient and effective clinical pathways, so that they can be scaled to low cost online modules accessible for all patients.
In conjunction with clinical care, RTHM operates a clinical lab that collects deep molecular data with robust clinical context for developing AI-powered diagnostics and better ways of predicting which treatments will be more effective for which patients. This effort allows patients to have access to the latest treatments and helps accelerate scientific and clinical advancements in long-COVID.
About the company
RTHM was founded in 2018 and is currently based out of Redwood City, California. The company was initially founded by Ryan Kellogg and Mike Snyder. Ryan Kellogg worked in the lab of Mike Snyder at Stanford for 5 years, where they developed remote lab and wearables monitoring technology that are now being used at RTHM. In 2020 with the rise of the SARS-CoV-2 prevalence, Ryan Kellogg joined forces with Dr. Jennifer Curtin for their shared motivation for improving the healthcare’s system of poor recognition and handling of complex post-infectious illnesses.
